Mrs. K – Boudoir Client Review

When the stars align and two creatives come together to create bomb af art…

I always feel the most raw creative energy when I get the privilege to work with another soul like me. I was SUPER geeked to get Mrs. K set up with a boudoir experience with Sommer Fine Art Studio when she booked in back in March! I always thought and admired her over social media and had a good feeling that we would click well with one another, and damn… I be right. LOL!

Mrs. K and I have a lot in common, PLUS the fact that we are both photographers here in eastern WA makes my heart happy! I always struggled to make friends with fellow photographers around here, partially because I have been burned in the past with the “competition over community” mindset, annnnnnnd partially because I am a GD hermit (my tarot readings CONSTANTLY pull the Hermit card, every damn time). I knew with Sommer Fine Art Studio I was going to have to really take myself out of my comfort zone and create relationships with other local female boss babes when I started this business, and I am SO GRATEFUL to have made a friend with a fellow artist that knows and understands the struggles of this industry. Because let’s be honest…. it is not always fun or easy.

With both of our creative brains, commonalities and our goals for her session, Mrs. K and I legit NAILED her boudoir session! She created some FIRE images and I cannot wait to get her beautiful custom album to her! what made you book the session? what made you go for it?!

“Your work is beautiful, I love your natural ability to build other women up – and I’m in a spot where I need that boost of confidence for myself. I thought you’d be the perfect person to help me see that I can be beautiful too ❤️”

what was your favorite part of the day with us at Sommer Fine Art Studio?

“All the conversation and laughter, all while you gals did your thing! I love that you guys have the ability to laugh and work and provide great services at the same time!”

how did you feel throughout your session?

“Definitely felt empowered and beautiful!”

what did you first feel when you saw your images?

“Surprised!! Didn’t know I looked like that lol!”

if you could tell someone who is considering booking Sommer Fine Art Studio for their boudoir experience, what would you tell them?

“To do it! Book it, be excited about it, Taylor will calm your nerves, and give you great direction. She knows what the hell she is doing, for sure!! She creates great work, and is very good at hyping you up. Then you go see your images and bam! You’re surprised, you’re happy, and you’re left feeling like a bad ass too!”

“Thank you for showing me a different view of myself. Sometimes as moms, or as women in general really, we tend to be weighed down by allll the different aspects of life. It can be hard to find beauty in ourselves amongst the chaos of the every day life. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity for a slow down, an all about me type of experience; and for helping me see that I am still beautiful even though life is chaotic and busy at the moment!”
