Before I became a confidence dealer and professional wedgie giver, I was taking photography courses in high school and in 2014 I started my photography business photographing families, high school seniors, couples and a few weddings over the course of time. High school seniors was my absolute favorite because I enjoyed making teenagers feel special and unique, even if it was only for a day! I loved tailoring each senior to their unique personality and hobbies, and thrived off of making moody teenagers excited by the end of their photo session with me. This is what partially led me to wanting to specialize in a niche photography industry! I love working one-on-one with people and giving them hella confidence, and senior portraits was just the tip of the iceberg to what would lead me to boudoir portraits. In 2020 after some serious therapy, shadow work, and the loss of my personal identity outside of being a mother and wife to my family, I pursued to find the niche perfect for me. That is when I did some serious ADHD rabbit-hole research and found boudoir photography, and how completely different this industry was in comparison to other photography genres! I began my boudoir portrait business, which was once named "Red Light Boudoir" in late 2020 and haven't stopped since! Within my first year of specializing in boudoir I photographed over 30+ incredible women, have had multiple images of mine featured in boudoir photography education contests, have been a vendor for our local lingerie boutique's runway show where women of all shapes and sizes were walking the runway confident in designer lingerie, and grew my online community of bad asses and babes to over 2K (now currently over 3K community members)! My goal as a boudoir photographer is to raise the vibrational level of self-love and confidence with one photograph and one beautiful soul at a time. I absolutely LOVE creating beautiful art with people and their bodies, whether they are clothed or unclothed. It is such an intoxicating feeling to watch people fall back in love with themselves all over again, or maybe they never had that feeling until now.

My name is Taylor Sommer! I am a mother of three little guys (including set of toddler twins!), a dog mom to the only other girl in my casa and a wife to my high school honey of over 10 years. I was born and raised right here in Tri-Cities, Washington and if I am not at the studio photographing beautiful humans you can always find me at home cooking comfort food, listening to Heath & Zane Unfiltered podcasts, binge watching anime shows, forcing my family to listen to me belt out my favorite Summer Walker song and pulling tarot cards! You can always find some crystals in my bra and a deck of tarot cards in my bag, and I am an Aries sun, Scorpio moon and Sagittarius rising. So be prepared for a lot of fire and dark feminine energy!

Thank you for showing me a different view of myself. Sometimes as moms, or as women in general really, we tend to be weighed down by allll the different aspects of life. It can be hard to find beauty in ourselves amongst the chaos of the every day life. This luxury boudoir experience starts at $400. It includes studio time, posing and directing, hair and makeup, and professional retouching of your images! Images and products are sold separately and start at $2000. We also provide in-house payment plans up to 18 months. Payments can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. No. I value and understand that some people reserve their images for their own privacy and reasons. Privacy is very important to me, and all the images you see on my website and social medias have been given to me with written permission.

My studio is located in West Richland, Washington! And no, not Washington D.C., Washington state! Home of the evergreen tree!
While I can understand the desire to want to alter your body shape and form, I do not offer any kind of "photoshop surgery". I strongly encourage any person that come to my studio to know and understand that your body is already beautiful, no matter your size. I strive to keep that mantra at the core of everything I do in this business, and manipulating your body in photoshop goes against that standard. I do however remove blemishes and temporary marks from the skin, as well as skin smoothing and other enhancements! I want you to have the glam and beauty, without the societal body norms attached to it.
